Mythic hack and slash with deep classes and long campaigns

Titan Quest reimagines ancient legends as a fast, loot-driven action RPG that sends you from sunlit Aegean shores to other storied civilizations. You create your own hero, chase down escaped Titans bent on ruin, and carve through quests across expansive maps. It is based on the 2006 classic, and this adaptation retains that look and feel, pairing crisp animations with impactful audio for a satisfying slash-and-cast rhythm.

Depth is the main draw. The base adventure offers around 60 hours, and character building is impressively flexible, with more than 150 skills spread across 30 distinct classes. Mixing masteries encourages experimentation, making second and third playthroughs feel fresh as you chase new synergies and gear. Customization begins at character creation and continues as you level, letting you tailor everything from damage focus to support utilities.

Controls are thoughtfully arranged. The on-screen layout follows familiar touchscreen logic, stays out of the way visually, and you can also plug in a supported external controller if you prefer physical inputs. Combat and movement look and sound weighty, helping encounters feel clear even in busier battles.

Content does not stop with the base campaign. Optional expansions push the story into the Greek underworld, venture through Norse-inspired regions, and explore Chinese myth. These DLC packs require separate purchases, so the fullest experience comes at a cost, but they meaningfully extend the journey with new zones and challenges.

There are caveats. Minor bugs can crop up, including occasional moments where inputs feel unresponsive or a rare crash interrupts a session. Still, the sheer volume of content and the breadth of build options make those stumbles easier to forgive.

For anyone who loves action RPGs with rich mythological flavor, Titan Quest delivers a long, rewarding grind with generous customization and intuitive controls, with optional paid expansions for those who want even more.
