Your headquarters is the heart of the base. If it falls, the battle is lost, so layering defenses quickly becomes the core puzzle. Sniper towers, mortars, and machine guns create overlapping fields of fire, and each upgrade unlocks new structures that deepen your options. The interface leans on a familiar, clean layout, so navigating build queues and timers rarely gets in the way of planning your next strike.

Combat plays out across a sprawling archipelago dotted with two types of opponents: the AI-controlled Black Guard and rival players. Landings happen right on the beach, then your squad gravitates to the closest target unless you paint a path with flares. Naval support sits offshore in the form of a destroyer that can launch missiles or additional flares, letting you soften defenses or redirect the push mid-assault. It is a straightforward system, but the interplay between landing points, target priority, and support fire gives each raid a tactical edge.

Presentation is competent rather than dazzling. You can zoom in to admire units and buildings, yet models and audio lack the punch of the genre’s standouts. Originality is also not its strong suit, as the structure borrows heavily from well-known base-builders.
