The core battle royale loop remains intact: drop into the new 8x8 km map of Troi with up to 100 players, scavenge, outmaneuver rivals, and stay ahead of the ever tightening Blue Zone. It is familiar, but the futuristic setting gives each match a sharper tactical edge.

New tools change how you plan engagements. Combat shields let you create on the fly cover in exposed firefights, while drones open creative scouting and supply options. The highlight is in match weapon customization. You can tweak firearms during a round with attachment style add ons, shifting a rifle from mid range stability to close quarters responsiveness without changing your base gun. It is a small touch that meaningfully deepens strategy.

Presentation is a major focus. New State touts ultra realistic visuals and convincing, punchy gunfeel that reward careful aim and positioning. Troi’s districts offer spacious sightlines mixed with tight interiors, encouraging varied playstyles across a single session. The scale and detail look impressive, but there is a trade off: the game is resource intensive. It requires Android 6.0 or higher and at least 2.5 GB of RAM, and it can strain capable hardware.

Monetization stays on the fair side for a competitive shooter. Purchases focus on cosmetics, so you are not paying for an advantage. That keeps the playing field level while still giving style options.

Verdict: New State does not reinvent PUBG’s formula, yet the near future setting, flexible weapon mods, and heightened presentation refresh the experience. If you want a massive open world with realistic, dynamic gunplay and clever gadgets, this is a compelling entry. Just be mindful of the hardware demands before jumping in.
