As a free, lightweight option, it gathers everyday navigation utilities in one place. Typing an address returns a map location you can view immediately, and the nearby search covers common categories such as restaurants, banks, ATMs, and pubs. The inclusion of a distance calculator is a thoughtful touch for quick checks between two points, useful when planning errands or estimating travel.

The trouble is consistency. Location and address results are not always reliable, which undercuts confidence, and the distance tool can produce figures that do not match expectations. When your primary function is guidance, even occasional inaccuracies can turn a simple lookup into a guessing game.

Advertising is another sticking point. On-screen ads occupy a large portion of the display, and popups tend to appear after many actions. Having to dismiss them repeatedly before seeing results breaks focus and makes routine checks cumbersome.
