The world you fly over is a highlight. Regions are built from high resolution satellite imagery and shaped with convincing topography, creating coastlines, mountain ranges, and plains worth exploring. Major airports feature accurate layouts, complete with runway and taxiway detail that makes planning and taxiing feel authentic. Time and weather are fully adjustable, and the depiction of sun, stars, clouds, and the moon adds to the sense of place whether you prefer dawn departures or night arrivals.

Camera flexibility is excellent. You can switch among several perspectives on the fly, from an immersive cockpit view to external angles that showcase the airframe and environment. The 3D presentation gives you a clear sense of scale and orientation, which helps when lining up approaches or practicing pattern work.

For longer routes, autopilot is a welcome companion. The caveat is the monetization. Many aircraft and features sit behind a paywall, so the free selection feels limited over time. Still, if you value realistic procedures, varied camera tools, and a richly rendered world, this is a compelling way to log virtual flight hours.
