Enhanced AI sharpens movement on and off the ball, which pushes matches toward tactical, moment-to-moment decisions. New animations and motion-capture work add convincing footwork, body positioning, and ball control, supported by clear, vivid visuals that mirror televised action.

Licensing is a major hook. You get famous European powerhouses like FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus, and FC Bayern München, plus a partnership with AS Roma that feeds new Matchday events alongside updates to players, clubs, and leagues. The Iconic Moment content lets you relive defining performances from past and present stars, then test your mettle against friends through local or online play. If you want competition, eFootball mode includes Matchday and other esports-style events.

Weekly Live Updates draw on real-world match data to reshape your experience. Standout performers become Featured Players with higher ratings, bespoke card designs, and even extra skills. These updates ripple into Condition Ratings and rosters, so squads feel alive and responsive to the global season.

Player development is deep. Individuals have up to 10 Player Skills, and Skill Training can add as many as five more to expand roles on the pitch. Legacy Transfer lets you pass experience and unlocked skills to another player, keeping progress within your club. Not everything scores. The control scheme can occasionally feel uncooperative, and the licensing skew toward Europe means coverage across the English, Spanish, and other leagues can feel thin.
