Asphalt Legends Unite drives the series forward, taking over from the previous entry while letting returning players keep their progress and upgrades. It feels like a full scale refresh of a proven arcade formula, with a sharper focus on social play and a bigger pool of cars and tracks.

Team play is the standout. Cooperative races ask you to coordinate lines, boosts, and shortcuts, and cross-play supports up to seven racers in a single event. If you want bragging rights on the couch, split-screen supports up to four players. The handling caters to both purists and newcomers, thanks to precise manual steering or the streamlined TouchDrive system that lets you concentrate on timing, stunts, and nitro management.

Content is generous. There are seventy tracks inspired by real world locations and more than 800 races to chew through, anchored by a deep Career mode packed with seasons and varied challenges. The garage spills over with more than 250 hypercars from high end manufacturers, each presented with meticulous detail. Customization is equally robust, letting you change paint, rims, wheels, and body parts to build a signature look.

Visuals lean into spectacle with detailed vehicles and vibrant dynamic lighting that makes every drift and barrel roll pop. Time limited events keep the calendar busy, including rides like the BMW M4 GT3 and the Apollo EVO, plus a Porsche celebration where you can chase a special livery for the Taycan Turbo S. The series anniversary brings extra surprises as well.

There are trade offs. Pop up ads can break the rhythm, and progression leans heavily on in app purchases. The rich effects and customization layers can also be demanding on hardware.
