The centerpiece is Max Icons and Folders, a toggle that enlarges app shortcuts and folders for a punchy, distinct layout that is also easier to read at a glance. Complementing that are custom widgets and branded wallpapers that echo the company’s clean, monochrome style. Core options cover the essentials: you can tweak the app grid, apply third-party icon packs, and enable wallpaper scrolling. It is enough to shape the look to your taste, but the controls stay intentionally light to keep the interface approachable.

This restraint is both the appeal and the limitation. Fans of pared back setups will appreciate how quickly a tidy home screen comes together, while power users may miss deeper controls common in more mature launchers. It is important to note that this is a beta, and the feature set feels like a curated sampler rather than a full replacement. The developer hints at more to come, but for now the focus is squarely on the basics.

Device support is also narrow. Officially, only a small list is covered, including recent entries in the Galaxy S21 and S22 families and the Pixel 5 and 6 lines. If your device is outside that group, you are likely out of luck.

As a taste of Nothing’s aesthetic, this preview succeeds. If you want a clean, fuss free layout with oversized icons and cohesive widgets, it delivers that vision. If you crave deep customization and a wide device net, you may need to wait for future updates.
