Colorful Ludo with quick mode and local multiplayer

Ludo Game: Ludo 2020 Star Game sticks closely to the tabletop classic, offering a simple ruleset and an easy entry point for casual sessions. You get four tokens each, moving around the board according to a six-sided die. A piece leaves home only on a roll of six, landing on an opponent sends their token back to base, and rolling a six grants an immediate extra turn. It is the familiar race to shepherd all pieces to the finish.

Two modes shape the pace. Classic mode asks you to bring all four tokens home, while quick mode speeds things up by requiring just one token to complete a lap. The bright board and clearly separated colors keep the action readable, and matches with friends are straightforward thanks to offline local multiplayer. You can also play solo against the computer, or go online.

There are notable drawbacks. Online multiplayer is not built in, since it redirects you to a separate companion app, which breaks the flow. The player count is capped at four, so bigger groups cannot join. Most frustrating is the computer opponent. In solo play the AI routinely lands just the rolls it needs, and sixes feel scarce on your turn, making wins feel out of reach. That imbalance overshadows the otherwise approachable design.

Ads are another sticking point. They pop up frequently, and interruptions are especially noticeable when you try to play online.

If you want a bright, straightforward take on Ludo to enjoy on one device with friends, this delivers the basics and a brisk quick mode. If your priority is fair single player or seamless online competition, the AI behavior and the split online component make it hard to recommend.
