Objectives change from task to task, but the routine usually boils down to staying alive as you move through danger zones. Visuals are sharp, and the variety of enemies helps keep encounters lively, even if the loop can wear thin during longer sessions.

You can choose between two control schemes: a streamlined option that handles some actions for you, or a more traditional virtual joystick setup for manual control. Both are serviceable, but touch input lacks the precision of a physical controller or mouse, and that shortfall is noticeable when action gets hectic.

Progression is anchored by a hideout hub staffed with helpful NPCs, each unlocking upgrades for weapons and gadgets. The arsenal is generous, with 37 weapons to acquire, and the campaign stretches across ten regions with more than thirty distinct maps, so there is plenty to chew on. A standout feature is the enemy roster, which mixes in different zombie types to force you to adapt instead of just spraying bullets.

There is also the Purgatory Arena, where you can battle other players for a change of pace. It is a welcome diversion from the linear missions and adds an extra layer of replay value.

The biggest caveat is monetization. As a free to play shooter, it often nudges you toward spending real money, especially when a high tier weapon seems required to push past a wall. You can grind for cash and parts, but that takes time, and the constant decision between earning gear slowly or paying up can be grating.
