Train a ragdoll ninja with lifelike physics and playful personality
Clumsy Ninja hands you a wonderfully chaotic apprentice and invites you to turn flailing into finesse. Part toybox, part trainer, it lets you grab arms and legs, drag him around the dojo, toss him into the air, and set up structured drills. The goal is steady belt progression through bite-sized challenges like punching bags, trampoline sessions, and simple sparring routines. Completing tasks nets XP and coins, which fund new items, repairs, and fresh skills, nudging your student from hopeless to capable.
What makes it hard to put down is the physics. Movements have a convincing elasticity, so every wobble, stumble, and roundhouse looks natural and often hilarious. The touch controls support this beautifully: pinch, pull, and poke with precision, and the ninja responds instantly in kind. A brief tutorial introduces the basics, but the tactile design makes it easy to learn by playing.
Presentation leans into bright, cartoon visuals with a lead character who oozes charm. Even with a mask on, the ninja’s eyes sell fear, surprise, and pride, giving each training win a little character arc. The playground of props keeps the scenery engaging, and a boombox adds a delightful distraction as your pupil breaks into dance between drills.
There are trade-offs. Progress can slow to a crawl while you grind coins for upgrades and wait on repairs, and the portrait-only view will disappoint players who prefer landscape. You may also encounter occasional lag on less powerful devices.
Despite these wrinkles, Clumsy Ninja excels as a physics-driven, pet-like trainer. If you enjoy hands-on tinkering, slapstick outcomes, and a steady drip of achievements, this charming dojo delivers plenty of laughs and a genuine sense of growth.
