Share files with nearby devices via Bluetooth with ease
Bluetooth File Transfer focuses on one thing and does it well: moving files between your phone and any Bluetooth-capable device, including laptops and other phones. Beyond simple sending and receiving, it lets you browse remote storage, so you can see what is available on the other side before you pull it down. A built-in search helps you zero in on content by type, size, date, or keyword, which is handy when you are digging through large folders.
Getting connected is straightforward. The app can switch Bluetooth on at launch, then list nearby devices for quick pairing. The layout separates local and remote content into tabs, so you always know whether you are looking at your own files or those on the other device. To share something, navigate to a folder, mark items with checkboxes, and choose Upload. When the recipient approves, the transfer begins. Grabbing files in the opposite direction is just as simple through the remote tab with the Download option. Batch transfers are supported, so you can send multiple items in one go instead of repeating the process for each file.
It is also a capable file manager on your device. You can create, rename, and delete files and folders without leaving the app, which cuts down on context switching when you are organizing before or after a transfer.
The biggest drawback is cosmetic. The interface looks dated and utilitarian, and it lacks the polish of modern design trends. If you can live with a plain look, the clear structure and no-nonsense workflow make this a practical choice for quick, cable free exchanges between phones and PCs, especially when you value simple controls, useful search filters, and multi file sending.
