The starter wooden sword is serviceable but underpowered, so prioritizing a stone blade or a pickaxe pays off quickly. Recent tweaks make invisibility cloak your armor as well, opening sneaky flanking plays. On the flip side, parking iron golems near the bed is risky, since they are easy targets for ranged foes.

Defense is as important as aggression. Layer blocks around the bed, watch for bridging enemies, and keep pressure on rivals by breaking their beds before going for eliminations. Simply farming kills is not enough, since respawns keep coming. Smart players also deny loot by tossing their inventory into the void when they are about to be knocked off. Techniques like speed or ninja bridging help you cross gaps fast while staying low profile.
