Creative barber simulator with realistic 3D cuts and selfie support
Barber Chop turns haircutting into a playful craft, pairing lifelike 3D models with a generous set of styling tools. Developed by Lajeune & Associates, this free-to-play barber shop simulator invites you to experiment with everything from subtle trims to bold beard designs on a broad cast of characters.
You start by selecting from 23 diverse models that vary in race, gender, and facial expression. The camera lets you zoom and rotate the head, which makes lining up fades, shaping beards, and detailing edges feel more precise. If a snip goes wrong, an undo option helps you quickly step back and refine your approach.
The toolset is a highlight. Scissors, clippers, razors, and more come in multiple sizes, enabling both sweeping cuts and meticulous touch-ups. Coloring is included too, so you can test vibrant shades or natural tones before committing to a look. Crafting complex patterns requires patience, since the app does not auto-mirror designs. Anything you carve on the left side needs to be reproduced on the right, which can be time-consuming but also reinforces careful technique.
Barber Chop goes beyond stock models by letting you import a selfie and test virtual styles on your own head. A built-in design feed showcases creations from other players, providing inspiration you can adapt in-game or even take to a real barber. Finished results can be shared to social platforms with a few taps, perfect for showing off a fresh virtual makeover.
Performance is the main drawback. Expect noticeable lag and frequent crashes, which can interrupt longer sessions or detailed work. Still, for creative tinkering and learning the basics of hair and beard styling, Barber Chop offers a feature-rich sandbox with plenty of room to practice and show off your skills.
