Stealthy home invasion with tense puzzles and unpredictable AI

Angry Neighbor is a solo stealth adventure that trades explosions for slow-burn tension. You lurk around a suburban house with a single goal: figure out what the elusive neighbor is hiding. The tone is unnerving from the first step on the lawn, with scattered clues, locked rooms, and a constant sense that you are being watched. It is a blend of sneaking, exploration, and light strategy that rewards patience and curiosity.

The core loop asks you to study routes, slip past doors, and improvise when plans fall apart. A reactive AI tracks your behavior, so repeat attempts rarely play out the same way. That unpredictability amps up the suspense, yet it can also misfire. At times the neighbor reacts in ways that feel erratic or overly punishing, which can turn a clever plan into a frustrating reset.

Puzzles lean into environmental tinkering. You will hunt for keys, move objects, and chain small discoveries into bigger breakthroughs. When the design clicks, solutions feel earned and encourage thinking around corners. Not every riddle lands, though. A few are opaque enough to push you into trial and error, and the game is light on guidance. With objectives that are often implied rather than stated, it is easy to wander without a clear next step.

Technical rough edges add friction. Movement has a stiff, slightly clumsy feel, and interactions occasionally fail to trigger as expected. Moments like a switch not responding can break immersion right when the tension is highest.

Despite the blemishes, there is a compelling cat-and-mouse experience here for fans of stealthy mysteries. It excels at atmosphere and pushes you to think outside the box, but patience is required to work around uneven AI, unpolished controls, and minimal direction. With more clarity and refinement, this could graduate from intriguing experiment to must-play thriller.
