Akinator the Genie is a free-to-play guessing game from Elokence that turns a simple Q and A into a crowd-pleasing party trick. The official game starring the blue genie challenges you to think of any character, real or fictional, and then tries to identify it with a string of targeted questions. It can also switch gears to guess movies and animals, which broadens the challenge without complicating the rules.

The flow is straightforward. Tap play, pick a theme, then answer a sequence using five buttons: yes, no, don’t know, probably, or probably not. Early prompts are broad to set a direction, and later ones drill into specifics like hair color or series affiliation. After roughly 25 questions, Akinator presents its best guess. A correct hit ends the round. If it strikes out three times in a row, you are asked to reveal the right answer, which feeds back into its knowledge base. A stable internet connection is required for play.
